The Agricultural Extension and Communication course consists of 3 credits, namely two theory and one practical credit. The practice in Agricultural Extension and Communication is a part of the mandatory courses for all students of the Faculty of Agriculture.

Students expect to become more familiar with agricultural extension and communication activities through this practice activity. Moreover, through this practice, students can explain extension activities carried out by the government and the private sector. Students will also demonstrate the elements and stages of agricultural extension and communication in sustainable agricultural development. At the end of this practice, students can create creative agricultural extension and communication materials and demonstrate agricultural extension and communication activities to the public.

On Saturday, February 24th, 2024, over 400 students from the Faculty of Agriculture, UGM, attended Agricultural Extension and Communication Practical Assistance. This activity is an introduction to the Agricultural Extension and Communication Practice. Firstly, it discussed the practical rules and regulations and briefly introduced the material for each event. In this assistance, students will also carry out a grand test as a form of pre-test to measure students’ initial knowledge.
